FOR MOMS AND BABIES, INC.,
is a resource and education center that offers a one-stop haven of independent information, services, education and products for pregnancy, birth and parenting. Our mission is to expand awareness and facilitate options available in the birth and parenting community with the goal of creating happier, healthier children and stronger families.

JOANNA WHITLOW, C.D. (DONA), is a childbirth educator and baby advocate. She has provided doula support for scores of moms and babies in Santa Barbara and the Coachella Valley. Joanna and her husband own and operate Jadabug’s Baby Furniture. She facilitates an Earth Scouts group for young children and participated in the conception of the national organization. Joanna teaches Childbirth Education, Newborn Care and Breastfeeding Basics and Sibling Prep. Joanna lives with her husband and three sons in Indio.

CAROL MOHR BATT, Ph.D., earned a doctorate in physiological psychology in 1992. She retired as an Associate Professor of Psychology from a small, comprehensive university in New England in 2006. Carol is currently adjunct professor of psychology at College of the Desert. She has been invited to initiate and speak to parenting groups in New York and Connecticut. Carol became a doula in 1998 and has provided support for families in Connecticut, Washington and California. She is a board member of For Generations. Carol teaches Parenting, Your Amazing Infant, Grandparenting and Sibling Prep. Carol lives in La Quinta.

BRIDGETTE BECKER, C.A., L.M.T., L.L.L., is a childbirth educator, doula and La Leche League leader. She is a certified massage therapist and aromatherapist and is currently enrolled in courses at College of the Desert. She has taught classes internationally in childbirth education, human sexuality and women’s reproductive health. She sat on the National Committee on Infant and Young Child feeding in Jamaica. She teaches Pre-Natal Yoga. Bridgette and her two children live in Palm Desert.
