Classes are held at JadaBugs Baby Boutique in the Costco Center in La Quinta, unless otherwise noted. Payment can be made by cash, check or PayPal (use the PayPal link on the "Contact Us" page!). Informed Childbirth Four week series on what to expect during labor and delivery, coping techniques, breathing and relaxation, newborn care and breastfeeding basics. The class will be four Wednesday evenings from 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm, $150 per couple. Taught by Joanna Whitlow. Private classes are also available.
Dates: Four week series starting January 4th, February 1st, March 7th, April 4th
Breastfeeding Basics and Newborn Care Feel more confident when you bring baby home! Review the benefits of breastfeeding as well as ideal positioning and problem-solving techniques. Also learn how to soothe and best take care of your newborn. $35 per couple. Taught by Joanna Whitlow.
Dates: January 25th, February 22nd, March 28th, April 25th
Mama Support Network For Moms and Babies is facilitating groups of moms and babies in their first year, offering support and friendship during this exciting time. Groups will be made up of 4-8 mamas with babies of similar ages. The group will be facilitated by For Moms and Babies for 4 weeks, and will include sharing highs and lows of motherhood as well as discussions on self-care and parenting issues. Groups will be encouraged to continue meeting after the 4 week session using the same format. Membership in the Mama Support Network is only $30, which gives you access to a four week session, as well as 10% off at Jadabugs (not including strollers, car seats or sale items)!
